50. Anne Hathaway At The 2020 Critics' Choice Awards
The actor interrupted her maternity leave (she recently gave birth to her second child,) to walk the red carpet in a stunning Atelier Versace dress. Hathaway was nominated for Best Actress in a Limited Series or Movie Made for Television for her role in Modern Love that night, so she knew she had to make a statement on the blue carpet.

Erin Walsh, her new stylist, was to thank for the glittery pick, who counts celebrities like Kerry Washington, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Cobie Smulders as her clients. She was aiming to make Hathaway's return to the red carpet a memorable one, and fashion pundits agreed that she succeeded.

“Hot damn,” Walsh said on Instagram. “And excuse me, this woman just had a baby #superwoman #micdrop #ICON.” The gold dress oozed Old Hollywood glamour, what with its bat wing sleeves and its slinky shape. It was even more impressive from behind, which featured an exposed back.

What made the dress even more exciting was that Hathaway doesn't often collaborate with the Italian fashion house. The last time Hathaway wore Versace was in 2011, when she wore a dark red sequined dress to the Oscars that she co-hosted with James Franco. It might have taken nine years to wear another Versace, but it was well worth the wait.
