These Are The Most Iconic Movie Dresses Of All Time
2.
Tracy Chambers, 'Mahogany'
Mahogany follows Tracy Chambers (Diana Ross) as she goes from a fashion design student to a famous designer.
This satin, orange dragon-clad dress makes its entrance during a charity fashion show. Tracy, who is walking in the show, is supposed to wear an elegant gown, but instead pulls a fast one to switch into one of her own designs (seen above). It's over-the-top, especially in the scene, but remarkable nonetheless.
Fun fact: The costume design for the film was done by Diana Ross!
