These Are The Most Iconic Movie Dresses Of All Time
3.
Holly Golightly, 'Breakfast At Tiffany's'
The black dress Holly Golightly (Audrey Hepburn) wears in Breakfast at Tiffany's was designed by none other than Hubert de Givenchy, who was actually a close friend of Hepburn's. The elegant black, high-neck dress is paired with long black gloves, and a statement necklace designed by Roger Scemama for Givenchy. Believe it or not, none of the dresses that were actually made by Givenchy were used in the film.
As you'd expect, Givenchy's original copies of the gown are highly coveted. While very few even get to touch the dresses, Natalie Portman wore one of the original designs when appearing on a 2006 cover of Harper's Bazaar. What an honor!
