At 84, Joan Didion remains one of the most influential feminist writers alive. Although she hasn't released any new work since 2011, she continues to receive awards and influence female writers all over the world. Last year, her nephew, Griffin Dunne, profiled Didion for the Netflix documentary The Center Will Not Hold. With that release came legions of more fans who discovered this literary icon for the first time. Here's hoping she has at least one more book or essay in her.
