Not only was Hirono a staunch supporter of Dr. Ford, believing her testimony, but after hearing enough of the cowardice on the part of the men in the House, had a very clear message for them, "Just shut up and step up. Do the right thing for a change." Now those are the words of a woman you want on your team.
