The College Admission Bribery Scandal may have kicked off in 2019, but in 2020, Lori Loughlin pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit wire and mail fraud, and her husband, Mossimo Giannulli, pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to commit wire and mail fraud, and honest services wire and mail fraud. This was a major turn in the case, as previous to this, the couple upheld their innocence. During the time they maintained their innocence, the prosecutors accumulated more charges against them, so we suppose they decided to cut their losses. 

Loughlin was sentenced to two months in prison, and Giannulli to five months in prison.
