19. It Improves Self-Care
We hear a lot about self-care lately and just how important it is to us on so many levels. It’s seems that, as a race, we’ve reached a point where we’ve forgotten how essential it is to take care of ourselves, so the self-care movement has been kicked into overdrive. Better late than never, right?

Researchers have found that all the positive effects that gratitude has on our bodies and minds, as well as how we treat ourselves and others, compounds to us having greater respect for ourselves and in doing so it improves our self-care – something that is essential in ways that are far too often underrated.
