To the world's surprise, Margot and Tom got married in 2016. But they didn't walk the red carpet together till 2017 — and even then, they wouldn't pose for any joint pics.

Who is Tom Ackerley? Well he's not an actor but he does work in the movie industry like Margot. He's behind the scenes, however, as a producer and assistant director for big motion pictures. The two met before she became famous and she was the one who made the move. She told the story to Vogue, "I was the ultimate single gal. The idea of relationships made me want to vomit. And then this crept up on me. We were friends for so long. I was always in love with him, but I thought, Oh, he would never love me back. Don’t make it weird, Margot. Don’t be stupid and tell him that you like him. And then it happened, and I was like, Of course we’re together. This makes so much sense, the way nothing has ever made sense before.”

Talk about a meet-cute! Hopefully these two will become a little less camera-shy because they make such a charming pair, don't they? They also happen to be the same age, which is a rarity in Hollywood.
