Celebrity Couples Who Are Rarely Seen Together

We all know and love Jamie Lee Curtis, but how many of us realized she was married to director Christopher Guest (of Best in Show and This Is Spinal Tap)? Since 1984?? Due to his scarcity on the red carpet, we didn't — but we were delighted to find out.

Their love story is, unsurprisingly, adorable. In 1984, Jamie saw a photo of Christopher in Rolling Stone and told her friend she was going to marry him. She got his number from her agent and attempted to call him but didn't get a call back until they ran into each at a restaurant.

We can't help but laugh at Jamie's retelling of their wedding, "We were home by 7:30. My sister Kelly is still mad at me... If anybody here knows Kelly Curtis... please let her know that I publicly, in front of the universe, apologized for going home from my wedding at 7:15 when she wanted to keep dancing and actually have a wedding — when Chris and I sort of stood there, we swayed back and forth for our wedding dance, we cut the cake, we ate a piece, and it was like, 'OK, I'm good, you?' 'Yeah, let's go.'"

Now that's real love.
