Emily surprised her Instagram followers with a quickie courthouse wedding in 2018. Few even knew she was dating producer Sebastian Bear-McClard. We certainly didn't! But that shouldn't come as a big surprise considering the two apparently were only together for a few weeks before they rushed to the alter. They were, however, friends for years before.

“We knew each other for a long time before and he likes to joke ‘Yeah everyone thinks we got married quickly, but you vetted me for two years,’” she told Busy Phillips. She went on to explain her courthouse wedding this way, "Weddings are amazing I want to party I want to celebrate love and relationships but this was just for us and it was very nice.”

Such a sweet perspective on weddings, isn't it? We also have to say she was ridiculously stylish for hers. She wore a mustard suit from Zara and a black wide-brimmed hat with a veil. She hoped this move would help her hide their vows from the paparazzi, sharing, "It all felt very 'heist movie' because all of my girlfriends were in suits, too, and I wasn't wearing white, so I kept passing the bouquet of flowers to them, like, 'Decoy, decoy!'"
