So, North West Is On The Cover Of A Fashion Magazine — At Five Years Old
What were you doing at five?
At age of five, North West is officially a covergirl, putting the rest of her preschool peers to shame.
That's right, the fashionista daughter of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West scored her first solo magazine cover with WWD's special edition Beauty Inc issue, which the magazine posted today on their Instagram.
WWD's caption reads, "Move over millennials, a new generation is coming of age." Clearly, they're not wrong. It continues to note that North "has captivated the digital realm with her cross-generational appeal. Without a public Instagram or YouTube channel of her own, she’s too young to fully understand what a digital footprint is. And yet, hers is already wildly popular."
The colorful cover, which features the title "Keeping Up With The Future," shows an undeniably adorable North sitting on a stool, posing for the camera like just maybe she's done this before.
Proud mama Kim of course made her own Instagram post, calling her daughter "My most stylish and beautiful baby girl."
Kim shared on Twitter that North was very involved with the shoot, and even picked her own eyeliner color. Also, North apparently only wanted nachos on shoot day — which, in all honesty, is probably the only thing that we can relate to about this whole situation.
In an article on WWD, the magazine states that by 2025, nearly half of the population will be people under the age of 17. Apparently, North's generation is known as "Alpha," and is the age group just younger than Gen Z. Together, the two groups make a super-force of youths that are apparently going to take over the world. Will North West be at the forefront of this revolution? We'll just have to wait to find out.
