We already love crop tops. They are perhaps the most universally flattering, ubiquitous item of clothing seen everywhere from the street to the red carpet. There is a more revealing variation, however, that has us on the fence: the bra top. The bra top looks, well, like a bra. It's most often worn with a matching high-waisted pencil skirt during the summer season when temps get so hot, you want to take your clothes off. It is, after all, the closest thing to going topless.

Does it work, though? Celebrities, in all their fit glory, definitely pull it off with toned midriffs and enviable bosoms. Lily Aldridge, no stranger to posing in bras for Victoria's Secret, wore a silk version paired with a conservatively hemmed skirt.

Chrissy Teigen is definitely a fan. She has worn the garment multiple times in different styles: low-cut, with teeny spaghetti straps and patterned. You can't deny this swimsuit model has the body—and boldness—for it.
