They say what comes around goes around, and nowhere is that premise more evident than in fashion. From crop tops to dark lipstick and even scrunchies, it seems the '90s are having a major resurgence at the moment. Yet another fad from the decade that you can add to today's trends: chokers.
A favorite of grunge kids in the '90s, the chokers of yore were often studded, beaded or made from a stretchy plastic, all of which had the tendency to make your neck itch. It's no wonder the necklace style dropped off the map by the decade's close (unless you're Kristin Cavallari, who regularly wore them well into the new millennium on Laguna Beach). But today's iterations have grown up significantly, so it's no wonder the close-cropped accessory has a chokehold on some of Hollywood's most stylish ladies.
To wit, Miranda Kerr added edge to a simple, everyday look with her braided gold chain choker.

Boho poster child Vanessa Hudgens wore a casual version of the necklace that gives her outfit just the right amount of oomph on her stroll with friends.
