Trend to Try: Double-Slit Skirts

You might have kissed your shorts and tanks goodbye, but showing a little skin is always in no matter what season befalls us. The key is to do it tastefully. Take a cue from celebrities such as Selena Gomez, Lauren Conrad, Julianne Hough and Alessandra Ambrosio, who have all donned the double-slit skirt.

As opposed to the traditional single slit, you don't have to consciously posture yourself to get the desired leg-baring effect (insert Angelina Jolie joke here). With two slits, any movement will flash your gams, effectively upping the sex appeal of any ensemble. The design works across different styles and occasions, from all-black city chic to free-flowing boho.

Selena Gomez wore a double-slit pencil skirt with a daring turtleneck crop top and classic pumps.

Lauren Conrad went more conservative, styling a maxi skirt with a matching buttoned blouse and nude sandals to emphasize her legs even more.
