It seems there's no end to the weird things women do in films that they'd never, ever do in real life. From shaving their own heads to splashing water on their faces, regardless of whether or not they're sans makeup, to looking flawless even in a post-apocalyptic scenario — so much about the portrayal of women on the big screen is completely inaccurate.
