When Meghan first met Harry's family, she knew at least one of the faces in the meet-and-great. Meghan was friends with Princess Eugenie prior to ever meeting Harry, so she already had a friend in the family. 

During her Oprah interview, Meghan said: "Eugenie and I had known each other before I had known Harry, so that was comfortable."

Eugenie is also someone both Harry and Meghan stay in touch with since moving to California. "We're friends with them as a couple," Meghan said, mentioning Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank.
