While some people might have planned a date in a romantic restaurant for a third date, Harry planned to whisk Meghan away to Africa. 

“About three to four weeks [after our first date] I managed to persuade her to come and join me in Botswana, and we camped out with each other under the stars. She came and joined me for five days out there, which was absolutely fantastic. So then, we were really by ourselves which was crucial to me to make sure we had a chance to get to know each other,” Prince Harry shared. “To take that huge leap of only two dates and then going effectively on holiday together in the middle of nowhere, sharing a tent together and all that kind of stuff. It was fantastic, it was absolutely amazing to get to know her as quickly as I did.”
