Will Gwen Stefani's mesh peplum jumpsuit trump all? (Getty)
Gwen Stefani threw down the gauntlet this week in her mesh Stella McCartney jumpsuit. High risk, high reward! How could anyone follow this sort of brazen fashion brilliance? Rosie Huntington-Whiteley was up for the challenge in a white brocade Andrew Gn dress at her boyfriend's movie premiere. Her floral pumps and tanned skin conveyed spring in the sexiest way possible.
Next up was Dakota Fanning, who always charms with her youthful sartorial choices. For the Vanity Fair party, she (literally) looked like a doll in a Barbie pink Lanvin number.
The week closed out with the Tribeca Film Festival's premiere of The Five Year Engagement, where both Emily Blunt and Camilla Belle wore Jason Wu. Emily selected one of the designer's girly Mad Men-esque pieces while Camilla went another route in one of his Eastern-inspired looks. But do these have the style moxie to trump Gwen? You be the judge.
